Dane Tabby & Domestic Medium Hair Mix Springfield, OR
- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered.
Dane is very sweet and quiet, with a soft purr and meow. Dane likes to be with his human and will readily lay on your lap or curl up at your feet. He does have his alone time, when he goes to a dark, quiet place for a long nap. When he's with you, Dane welcomes scratching behind his ears, under his chin, petting down his back, rubbing his belly, and even lets you hold his paws. Dane warmed up to his foster family right away, allowing them to pick him up and settled right in at their house. Dane recently had surgery to have his teeth cleaned and some bad teeth removed, as well as a few small growths on the back of his head. His fur is still growing back in from his surgery, but he has been given a clean bill of health! He is still not a big eater and could afford to gain a little weight. His foster mom has also noticed him sneezing occasionally. Dane was found living in the neighborhood of a rescue volunteer. They and another neighbor fed him and looked for his owners for months to no avail. Dane is such a sweet kitty, they knew they needed to find him a forever home for his older years, so they brought him to our cat rescue group for fostering. Dane is such an easy cat to live with. He's ready to be a loving companion for a special someone.
Dane has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Dane in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days with possible next steps. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2006-C0316
