Dakota is so super sweet he has sugar running through his veins. Diagnosed as a Feline Diabetic back in 2010 his foster mom learned to do the sugar dance with him. Such a gentle and patient teacher he is. So tolerant and understanding. He knows only that he loves you unconditionally and he is looking for someone that will give him the same in return. He is easy to treat and will knead his foster moms lap when testing and getting his insulin. He was adopted in 2010 and returned in 2012 because they would not care for him right. It wasn't his fault at all. He came back matted and a mess. Dakota needs a low carb canned food portion controlled diet. He needs someone that will brush his beautiful long silky coat which he really really enjoys. When he gets extra happy you will know as he might drool a little in delight. He recently had a dental and other than his diabetes is in great health. He is slimming down now that he is back on a proper diet. He you are willing to care for him he would love to care for you. He enjoys cuddling and likes to get on the back of the couch and places his declawed front paws on each shoulder and massages your cares away as he gently nuzzles his head into the back of your neck and purrs. He would love to cuddle and keep you warm on these cold winter nights. He gets along great with other cats too and is playful and sweet.
