Meet Curtis & Marshall (Bonded Pair, FIV+)

Curtis and Marshall are 6-month-old brothers looking for their forever home together!

Curtis (short hair, orange tabby) is a crazy and playful kitten who loves to protect his brother in new situations!

Marshall (long hair, orange and white) is a shy, cuddly, and very playful kitten. He’s timid at first but does warm up into a cuddle bug.

Both boys are looking for their home together. They complement one another and are a great pair.

Both boys are such goofballs. They both love to touch noses with me and it’s just about the cutest thing ever. They love soft blankets and play as hard as they sleep.

Their hobbies are playing, playing, and playing! These boys love to play. Mousey is both kittens' favorite toy, but they love all kinds of toys! Marshall loves to climb, so having a tall cat tower will greatly benefit their playtime and needs.

Both boys need lots of playtime. They love to climb and look out the windows. They love to scratch their scratch toys, so having appropriate and various spots for them to scratch is going to be best for their enrichment needs!

They are currently living in an apartment with their foster and two adult resident cats.

Marshall and Curtis will do best in a patient home. Marshall is very anxious about new things and people and will need some quality decompression time. I’ll offer some tips on getting him to warm up and such. Curtis is often nervous at first but tends to warm up more quickly. With Marshall’s anxiety, I think a house with older, patient kids would be fine but not young kids. They would both probably do fine with a dog, but they have not been around any dogs to confirm, and very slow intros would be vital.

Marshall is FIV negative but Curtis is FIV positive. They can still love long wonderful lives and can live with non-FIV cats. Curtis will be retested around 7 months to confirm FIV status or to confirm false positive, which is possible due to mom’s antibodies still in their system. While FIV doesn’t have any specific ongoing medical needs or treatments it’s very very important to get these boys into the vet on a yearly basis and catch any illnesses early.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
