Cuddles started off as a stray from Waterloo in 2014 when she was a kitten. She was adopted twice and returned twice. First home had a dog that would never accept her and terrorized her, so they returned her. She also was peeing outside the litter box. Some from stress of this dog. But our vet tested her urine and she had a urinary tract infection which we treated. She needs to be fed high quality cat food to prevent this from happening again. She is better now and no litter box issues at all. Best to also have jumbo sized litter boxes for her to use also. Her second home was really great and even had her sister, Colette, there. So we really thought this home would be perfect for her. But Cuddles has decided she doesn't want other cats in her forever home. Not even her sister. She wants a home where it is just her and her owner/family. No other pets and no young children.

Cuddles is up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and spayed.

Cuddles was born around April of 2014 so she is almost 4 years old as of April 2018. Cuddles is very loving. Very friendly and loves to be petted. She enjoys sitting in your lap. She does well with older children, 8 and older. Cuddles is really sweet. She also likes to run around and play. She enjoys being in your lap and sleeping in your bed at night. She is always happy to see you. She loves to be near you and always follows you around so she can be where you are. She lives up to her name because she loves loves loves to cuddles. Very affectionate and loving cat!

Her adoption fee is $95.00.


WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
