Meet CRUZ

CRUZ is approximately 2-3 years old.

This kind, gentle soul was rescued from the Macedon hoarder house in June. He was sick, dehydrated and required many months of antibiotics to get him to his current state of purrrfection. CRUZ deserves to be in a loving home. He’s so happy to greet us each day and just wants to be be near us. He immediately snuggles up on our winter coats and rolls over to get our attention. He suffered horrors but that is in his past. We pray that someone will come forward and want to give him a home. Let’s help make this happen. Please!

Sadly, the Wayne County DA, Macedon town court in addition to the Wayne County Humane Society have all completely ghosted us in regards to any update on charges against the abuser who allowed multiple dozens of cats to rot and suffer. We called the Macedon Police multiple times, only to get an aggressive response once over the summer by the officer who kept giving excuses as to why it was taking months to get things done. The rest of the calls were completely ignored. We had been told by Macedon police to just house all the cats, that restitution may be coming. To this day we are spending thousands each month on the care of the remaining cats from there. All of what they said was a lie, a fabrication to shut us up. The Wayne County Humane Society did seize many cats but they refuse to answer our letter we sent to the DA, asking to be able to help the remaining cats. We left 5 calls with the Macedon Court Clerk on when the hearing would be, who finally called us to tell us that the court case had been adjourned for the abuser to get an attorney. That’s all we know. All the depositions from vets, reports from us with PROOF of the heinous crimes of abuse and neglect as well as torture, photos and more. All of that has fizzled and gone away. It’s time the truth gets out there. We have literally killed ourselves this year handling this case ALL on our own, with NO help from the County or any sort of follow up. It’s as if it never happened.

Let’s help CRUZ have his victory by finding him a loving home. He gets along with all cats, dogs and loves kids. He’s gentle and truly just wants to be loved.
