Creamy - a quirky girl Domestic Short Hair New York, NY

This is our little weirdo, Creamsicle AKA Creamy. This gorgeous soft girlie is approximately 8 months old and chunky, and is so social and gentle with humans and other cats despite being born on the street with her siblings.

When she was ~6 weeks old, Creamy's foster momma called our rescue saying she was struggling to breathe. We immediately put her on oxygen support and that issue resolved, but we think the few hours with limited oxygen to her brain caused some minor neurological damage. Immediately following this incident, Creamy became unable to balance at all on her own, hold her head up, or even eat or use the litter box unassisted. After a few ER visits, medications, and a lot of love, our girlie has recovered fully! Occasionally you can see the remnants of these neurological symptoms when she has some clumsy balance, is hesitant to climb something, or holds her head at an odd angle. However, there is nothing that is of ongoing concern and she needs no medical follow up. Just needs someone to love her for the strange little beanie baby that she is!!!
