Gator was found on a kind person's porch after getting into a scuffle with another cat. He was brought in to the vet so he could get checked out and taken care of. While he was an outdoor kitty, he seemed right at home with people, and also does not seem to mind a calm friendly dog. He is very lovable and would enjoy the opportunity at a loving home!
So far, he has done very well while being examined and is just finishing up a round of antibiotics, which he also did well being medicated! He is handsome and friendly, and healing nicely from his altercation! He also seemed to enjoy his photo shoot!!! He is estimated at being about 2 or 3 years old and is already neutered.
If you are looking for a loving companion to share a cozy home with, Gator may be the guy for you!!! We are not sure how he would do with other indoor kitties, it may be a good idea for him to be an only kitty.
Gator is marked as special needs because he tested positive for FIV. FIV is not transmittable to humans or dogs, but can be transmitted to other kitties through deep wounds from fighting or through mating (not applicable with Gator!). FIV does not affect his adoptability, he is healthy, sweet and playful! FIV positive kitties can live a long healthy life.
