MEET COOPER!

Let us introduce you to a very special middle-aged guy named Cooper! This handsome man ~7 year old Domestic Shorthair had his life turned upside down when his former family had to give him up. Luckily, he bypassed the shelter-system and came right to City of Elderly Love.

To get straight to the point, Cooper is the kind of cat who will likely hide under your bed for the first few weeks home but when given a chance to settle into his new surroundings on his time, Cooper will absolutely become your very best friend! In no time, you'll find him curled up in bed with you when you wake up. Cooper is currently in foster care with other cats and he really gets along with them. In fact, we think they help him build confidence so he'd do well in a home with other friendly cats. He's currently living with dogs but mostly just avoids them. He'll give a good swat if they're being too intrusive. Because he can be shy, we think Cooper would be happiest in a quieter home without small kids. He may require a little patience upfront but given the chance, he'll complete your family!
