Hello, friends! My name is Clyde and I'm a 15 year-old gentleman with a velvety black and white coat and an adorable pink button nose. I had a home, but my human moved to a nursing home so I was brought to MaxFund in January 2021.

I spent the early weeks of my arrival here tucked deep inside my hidey bed while I made sense of my new surroundings. Now that I know I'm safe, I feel confident enough to show my true personality which is that I'm a real bundle of love! I absorb into your hand during pets and to thank you, I'll reward you with deep purrs and adorable bunny kicks! I love playing with mousies and feather toys and I also make purrfect biscuits! I have never lived with children or other pets, but I do watch the other cats in my room with interest. I still prefer to do this from my cage since I'm shy and don't yet feel quite ready to interact with them. I might get along fine with another calm and gentle cat or dog but, of course, a gradual introduction would be very important. Children would need to be older and understand how to interact with shy cats. When I came to MaxFund we discovered that I am diabetic so this means that I require a special diet and insulin. Honestly, my care is really pretty easy. I am eligible for both adoption and foster.

My storybook ending is pretty simple - all I ask is to be back in a doting lap in a calm, quiet home with someone who loves me and understands that I'll need patience to ease into my new home since I may be very shy at first. And I promise that when I look into your eyes and give you slow blinks, every day you will know that I am thanking you for giving me a loving home. I hope you'll come see me soon!
