Clyde Domestic Short Hair Mix Vine Grove, KY

Clyde was trapped as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return project. He and his sister were about 4 months old when they came to ARC. We were able to tame down his sister and she has since been adopted (yay!). However, handsome shy-guy, Clyde, is still waiting for his happy ending! He will need a very special home with people with patience, and love! Clyde would not do well with younger children. When you approach him, he is very nervous and will often hiss or swat at you. Once you are holding him, he does calm down and will let his guard down a bit. His people will have to be understanding that he will need baby steps to learn to accept their love. He will most likely never be a lap kitty--but everyone should have at least one foot-of-the-bed-snuggler, and he just might be that guy! We do realize that he might never find that perfect home. So we are hoping to find a monthly sponsor or two to help cover his care.

Adoption Fees: $80 for Cats
All our pets are spayed, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
