Cleo Domestic Short Hair & Calico Mix Fishkill, NY

Cleo was abandoned by her family that moved. She was pregnant or had just given birth when they left. We're told she had many litters of kittens and her family never arranged for her to be spayed. She was malnourished and dehydrated. In spite of her difficult situation, she's a great mama to her one surviving baby from this last litter. Thankfully, she'll never have to go through that again.

Cleo is wonderfully sweet and affectionate; even when she's meeting new people. She's very relaxed.

Cleo would prefer to be an only pet living with a family that truly loves her and is committed to caring for her. She doesn't ask for much more than a warm lap to cuddle on.

We estimate Cleo to be about eight years old.

Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm. They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.
