Meet Cleo
Date of birth: 11/12/2017
1/12/2021: Cleo is a beautiful three year old brown tabby. She’s very friendly.
• Sadly, Cleo was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia in her back hips. She had surgery on one side to fix it and she's done very well since. Our vets do not think that the other side needs further intervention. Cleo gets around very well. It does not effect her ability to walk, run, play or climb!
• Cleo does well with the other kitties here and in her foster home she was also around other cats. We also believe she would be okay with a dog that didn't want to be in her face all the time.
• Cleo does have a feisty streak when she plays! We feel that she needs a home without young children.
• Cleo has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia.
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...
> WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT AN ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. By submitting an online application, we can process your application more quickly and can schedule an appointment for you to come in so that our small staff can serve you best. It also allows us to make arrangements if you’d like to meet a pet in foster care. Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for an adoption application and more information about our adoption process, fees and all that's included.  An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements.
> If you decide you'd like to adopt one of the pets you meet, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that day. We’ll instead schedule a pick up date and time that’s convenient for you.Â
> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
