Clay - The handsome Tabby kitten with a Heart of Gold's Story

Meet Clay — the Handsome Tabby with a Heart of Gold

Clay is a gorgeous young tabby with thick, bold black stripes running through his rich brown coat. He has huge paws that hint he’s going to grow into a big, majestic boy!

This sweetheart was found near a car wash off Blue Clay Road, which inspired his perfect name. Originally trapped to be fixed and released, Clay quickly showed he was far too affectionate and gentle to return to outdoor life. He absolutely loves cuddles and rewards every bit of attention with his deep, happy purrs.

Playful and curious, Clay enjoys spending time with his faux foster siblings and would do great with other cats. Since he’s still young, he’ll likely adjust well to dogs and children too. He’s still learning all the new sounds and comforts of indoor life, but every day he’s growing more confident and content.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with the sweetest purr and the biggest paws, Clay might just be your perfect match.

All cats and kittens are vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies if old and large enough for their vaccinations. All cats are neuter or spayed before final adoption date. All cats are also microchipped!

Our adoption process:
1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
