Meet Clark BONDED PAIR with Rita *Featured at Petco in Columbia, MD*

**Clark is a work-in-progress kitten who will need a confined space and a patient adopter until he is more secure/confident with humans**

Clark is one of 4 kittens born at the Pigtown Community Garden this fall. Clark is still not sure of humans. He should be started out in a large dog crate or a small space like a small bathroom so he can get used to his adopter. Clark is very snuggly with his sister, Rita. They would love to be adopted together! He especially loves snuggling into warm blankets.Clark could make a great companion for an adopter that takes the time to show him that humans aren't scary. Clark has "old man" energy and is not much into typical kitten playtime. His mustache is a personality of its own :)

Interested in adopting one of our kitties?!

The first step in the adoption process is the adoption application which is located on our website rescueandadopt.org/adopt.

Our website includes a lot of info, including a FAQ page with lots of answers.

Once your application is reviewed we will contact you to schedule the home check video chat to ensure that you have all the basic supplies set up in an isolation/ introduction room and there are no health hazards to the cat in your home. We can also help answer any additional questions you may have at this time.

Next is the meet and greet with you and the adoptable kitty you're interested in. We are a foster system so we do not have a facility. Visits to meet an adoptable animal at a foster family is by appointment only. In the rare case that you decide your initial kitty isn't the right fit, we can introduce you to our many other types of cats to find the right fit.

Once you have settled on your new furry family member, the next step is to complete and sign the adoption contract with an ASHA volunteer to finalize the adoption.

Adoption Fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old and $100 for cats 5 years old and older.
