Meet Clara

Clara was found as a small kitten by someone and taken to a local vet office. Clara lost her vision at a very young age. She had spent a lot of her life so far in a small cage, so there was a small period of adjustment to allow her to get used to bigger spaces. She seemed nervous at first, but as with all young kitties, she has adjusted and doing very well. Clara likes to lay across the back of your neck and perch on your shoulder. She seems to think this is a "safe" place. Clara is blind but has learned where things are in her environment rather quickly. She plays a bit rough with the other foster cat she shares a room with. Clara is still learning her boundaries and how to play gentle. With continued reinforcement of proper play (ex: substitute toys for your hands during play) she will come around nicely. Clara likes to lay on the top of the cat tree and seems to enjoy her kitty roommate. Clara loves crinkle cat toys and jumps up in the air to get it. She will seek her human out to play and for attention.

All kitties from Cat Tales will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before they go to their homes. Please note that most kittens are not big/old enough for spay/neuter until they reach approximately 12 or 13 weeks. Most kittens posted here are below that age, so please note their DOB here and understand that they will not be ready for adoption until they have been fully vetted.
