Claire's Story

For The Cats' Sake

Sweet Claire is a senior, declawed cat that was found with a blind senior cat, at the end of a rural road. They were likely left there, as they were by the side of the road and

not knowing what to do outside! CLAIRE may have found the ordeal very stressful, and coming to our rescue also, because she developed a cataract in one eye. We acted quickly to try and save her eye through cataract surgery, but sadly it just didn't seem to be healing well after a few weeks, and the eye specialist advised removing the eye. However the good news is, that CLAIRE is healing up well and no longer suffering from pain. We would LOVE to find her a home as a single inside kitty, so she won't be stressed at the rescue. She has a gentle and sweet and gentle personality and would be a great companion and friend to her adopter. If you might be interested in meeting her to potentially adopt her, please fill out the form below:

ONLINE ADOPTION FORM:

https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend over $250 to cover spay and neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask for a minimum donation of $80 per cat, and that adopters pay more if they are able to. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.

TNR and a whole lot more...
