Meet Cinderella

Meet Cinderella, a sophisticated and enchanting older lady who is on the lookout for her forever home after a life on the streets. Despite her initial shyness, Cinderella has blossomed into a sweet and brave girl, showcasing her unique personality as her confidence grows each day.

This elegant beauty may not be a lap cat, but she is undeniably affectionate. As a nightly cuddler, she has a tendency to snuggle up against her human, becoming a solid and comforting presence on the bed.

Cinderella is a playful spirit, especially fond of soft toys stuffed with catnip that she kicks around and wrestles with. Cinderella's unique traits include a mischievous streak, expressed through countertop exploration and distinguished lounging poses. She is incredibly expressive with her tail stump, wiggling it when excited or agitated. Although she may be toothless, this doesn't hinder her enjoyment of dry food, making her an easy and delightful cat to feed.

Cinderella is meticulous with her litter box habits and has a penchant for using scratching posts. Churu treats are the key to her heart, and her impeccable manners make her a joy to care for.

With a successful history of meeting strangers and a willingness to explore new environments, Cinderella is an adaptable and curious feline. Vet trips, subway rides, and encounters with friends have all been navigated with ease, showcasing her curiosity.

This enchanting feline is an expert communicator, expressing her feelings through gentle growls and hisses when overwhelmed. With a touch of anxiety, Cinderella needs an experienced and patient owner who can help her adjust to her new home. A quiet and calm household, free from the hustle and bustle of young children, would be the ideal setting for her. While she tolerates her current foster sister, Cinderella would thrive in a single-cat household, providing her with the peace and serenity she deserves.

If you're ready to welcome a charming and graceful companion into your home, Cinderella is the perfect match. Embrace the mystery and magic of this wonderful feline, and let her fill your life with love and enchantment.

As a senior cat, Cinderella requires yearly bloodwork to monitor her health. Her next test is due in September 2024. Cinderella has chronic gum inflammation, which is managed with two anti-inflammatory medications. She requires exams every 6 months to monitor this condition and her next visit is due in April 2024. Due to this condition, she has had significant dental surgery and has no teeth. Cinderella cannot be vaccinated due to her health issues and an exemption letter from her veterinarian will be provided to her adopter. Like all ACR cats, Cinderella has been treated for fleas and parasites. Cinderella is positive for FIV, but negative for FeLV.

Cats with FIV can live a long and happy life. You can read more about FIV on our website here: https://annexcatrescue.ca/the-happy-truth-about-fiv-cats/
