Chrome's Story

Hi, my name is Chrome. I am very upfront and honest. That said, I am very, very reserved. Sometimes I think I want to be petted, but it can be so hard to get in touch with my feelings! My foster mom has taught me a hand signal to come and get pets. I like it, because it lets me be in control and I can choose when I want to approach her and be petted and when I don't. I'm also being trained to overcome my biggest fear--being picked up. It's very slow going, but it involves Churu, and I'll do anything for Churu!<br/><br/>My brother, Carbon, is my best friend in the whole world. I don't know what I'd do without him. He's such a lovable guy, and he brings me stability, companionship, and contentment. I can be a regular cat around him and we love to wrestle--hard! Like WWF or Lucha libre!! Because of my issues, my brother and I can only be adopted into a very PATIENT and EXPERIENCED adult home without any kids. My adopted humans have to be willing to give me the space that I need, yet work with me little by little to grow my social skills. Would you please consider bringing me into your life?

If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues - here is how it works: 1. Contact us via email 2. We will send you an application or you can go to our website www.randallsrescue.com for an online version and ensure that the pet you want is a great fit for you, your lifestyle and the right fit for the pet. 3. Once the application is received and processed (please allow 1-2 weeks!) we will contact you to set up a time and date for you to meet the pet 4. We do NOT do same day (take them with you) adoptions - simply because I do not want anyone in that uncomfortable situation of a denial. I like the potential new home to meet the pet, and really be sure about the new addition first, no impulse adopting. My goal is for them to be in your loving home FOREVER.
