Chloe is a young, petite, Maine Coon mix. She is a shy little kitty but once she warms up to you she will be a sweetheart!

In early February, Chloe was taken to Lapcats as an owner surrender. She was originally found as a newborn kitten in a local park back in May 2020 and has lived a pretty sheltered life with not a lot of stability or interaction.

We got her fixed and vetted and moved her to a foster home where she was so scared and confused that she wouldn’t eat. After a few days of love and snuggles, she felt safe and she starts to open up.

She meows to communicate her needs, telling her foster mom to pet her. She trills and flops around when she feels loved. She loves to play with a feather toy. When she gets brushed she purrs a lot. She loves some cheek and bum scratches.

Chloe needs a lot of attention and love from humans to make her feel safe. She gets stressed easily and would not do well being left alone all day. Because of this, her foster mom thinks Chloe will be best to be in a quiet home with no other pets. She also needs a lot of time to adjust to new environments.

Our cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have been tested for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been wormed and are micro-chipped. Their $150.00 adoption fee also includes micro-chip registration, a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian, a free bag of food, free nail trimmings FOR LIFE, PetSmart coupons, assorted toys, and other complimentary items.
