Chimi's Story
Meet Chimi!

This handsome 7-year-old long-haired tabby has had a tough journey, but he’s ready for a new beginning. Chimi spent the first six years of his life in a home until his owners decided they no longer wanted cats and left him outside with three others. Thankfully, kind neighbors stepped in to care for him. While the other cats were rescued and adopted, Chimi was a bit harder to catch. But with patience and trust, his caregivers finally brought him to safety last month.

Unfortunately, Chimi tested FIV+ on 2/25/25. While this may sound scary, FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives with proper care. To ensure his well-being, Chimi would do best as the only cat in the home or with another FIV+ cat.

Chimi is a big boy, weighing nearly 12 pounds, with a fluffy coat that makes him look even larger. He has a bit of a grumpy expression, but we believe that with love, patience, and the comfort of an indoor life again, his sweet side will shine through. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a second chance, Chimi is waiting for you!

Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $100 covers spay, FIV/FeLV testing, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat.
