Cheyenne's Story

Meet Cheyenne! This sweet little tuxie girl has been waiting way too long for her forever home. Like her sister Montana, Cheyenne been passed over time and again for younger kittens. But she’s still quite young herself— under two years old. Cheyenne has all the best qualities of a young cat. She's friendly, playful, and smart. And that little white spot on her nose is just so boopable! Cheyenne is also a shelter favorite. Volunteers say she loves Churu and butt scratches. Cheyenne can be a bit shy at first but loves pets.

She'd make a great companion for someone who is looking for a new friend for themselves, a resident cat, or both! Give Cheyenne a shot!

We do foster-to-adopt trials.

Already in love? You can find our adoption application here:
https://form.jotform.us/91785518300155

Potential adopters complete an online application. All applications are then reviewed and potential candidates are contacted for a phone interview/conversation to ask/answer questions, determine if the cat is a good match for their home/family, and then discuss next steps. If both sides want to move forward, we ask for a video tour of the home and also any relevant medical records for their resident cat. Additional conversations often follow - suggestions for addressing potential hazards in the home (e.g. poisonous plant). If everything checks out with those two items, the adoption is approved and adopter is given information on supplies to purchase.
