Chester Tuxedo & Domestic Short Hair Mix Cincinnati, OH

Chester was found in a group of outdoor cats, and was removed because of his ear, which is mangled, swollen and probably restricts his hearing. It was thought the damage, made worse through lack of treatment, was also cancerous but biopsies have shown this not to be the case.

This is a cheerful, resilient cat, extremely affectionate, playful and very funny. He is not a cat who hides under the couch and never met a stranger.

Other cats find him annoying at best. Whilst not aggressive, he likes to stalk and pounce, and chase. He would not do well with a cat who is timid or overly aggressive, and would be fine as an only cat, but he loves company.

He would be great with children - even when enthusiastically kneading your lap, his claws remain in.
He would make the perfect companion for an empty nester family.

Chester has tested positive for FIV. This is not a significant health hazard, not a life-threatening condition, requires no treatment and is not one that precludes him living a normal life with or without other cats. (We would be happy to provide further information on FIV if requested.)
