CHESSIE Domestic Medium Hair Evans City, PA

Chessie, a beautiful cream point medium hair kitten, was initially trapped as a feral, but her foster realized that she was just scared and decided to try to rehome her. Chessie had been living outside since March and was finally rescued in August. She has had to learn to trust that the humans who used to scare her are now here to help her and she is making slow but steady progress! Chessie's ideal adopter will accept her as she is and be patient with her as she learns a new home and new people. It will take time, but it will be rewarding!! Chessie does not like to be held yet, but we are hoping as she continues to gain confidence, that she will begin to enjoy being held. She does love playing with her foster cat siblings in her foster home and is gaining trust every day with her human foster mom. She has a favorite stuffed unicorn that she loves to pick up, carry and toss!

Chessie is current on vaccinations and has tested NEGATIVE for FeLV/FIV. She has received consistent flea treatments and deworming according to vet recommendations/protocols. She has no health concerns and is currently on a wet and dry kitten food diet.
