Chere (aka Shelly)'s Story
Meet Chere, the sweet and quirky tortie. Chere is a lover and a unique one at that. She loves people and runs to the door to greet everyone, but is then shy when approached (until you bring out the wand toy). She loves to hang out on a sofa near you, on a box near where you work, on the edge of the bed.

Chere also loves other cats, particularly kittens and smaller cats that she can cuddle with and groom. She has some difficulty with large or aggressive cats because she is a drama queen when a lot of dominance is shown. She is not a fighter (again, she is a lover), but she would do best in a home that has sweet cats.

When Chere isn't loving others, she loves to play on her own and run through the house just for the joy of it. She never fails to make her foster mom laugh. She is also quite the bird watcher.

Chere has come a long way from a sickly teen cat. She is lively and sweet with quirks that make her a very unique and special cat.

Because Chere has quirky social skills, she would do best in a family with older children (though she has played well with toddlers) and, at least, one other cat.
