Meet Cheeto

CHEETO is an orange and white tabby tuxedo boy with a zigzag in his tail, about 9 months old. Cheeto is the biggest cuddler of the litter. He loves naps and play in equal order. He has no problem entertaining himself with toy mice and springs, but he extra appreciates playing together. He can be a little nervous with new people, but soon attaches himself to any source of pets, play, or food. Cheeto and his siblings were rescued from the same backyard breeding situation and placed in a loving a foster home. This sweet and loving boy will be the most affectionate addition to your home.

Cheeto tested positive for Feline Leukemia virus (FeLV). Cats with leukemia typically live regular healthy lives until they reach the end of the disease. The FeLV does mean Cheeto will have to be indoor-only and live only with other FeLV cats (such as his sisters Wispy or Sprinkles). It is unknown how Cheeto is with dogs, but he could acclimate to a friendly, cat-savvy dog as his playful companion with a slow introduction. Their lifespans may be shorter than those of normal cats, but otherwise he is in good health and will bring many years of joy and companionship to his lucky forever home.

Cheeto is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Cheeto in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee is $70, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
