Meet Cheeto

Meet Cheeto! Now here’s the deal with this big fluff ball... he has been with us for a few years and has only recently started coming out of hiding this past year. He is very shy and appreciates his quiet alone time, and comes out every once in a while to see what’s going on. He is not a mean boy at all. He’s very sweet, just very timid and unsure. We think it’s time to finally post him and get him started on the next chapter of his life :)
We recommend that he go to a QUIET and CALM home. If you have no kids or other pets it would be best, but gentle dogs and quiet/respectful kids would be an OK fit with him. He has no issues with other cats, he lets them cuddle in his hideyhut with him.
If you make an appointment to see him, be prepared for him to be in his hidey hole. You’ll have to peek your head in to see him. Sometimes a mean cat hides with him so we don’t recommend sticking your hand in there however lol!

Cheeto is a very special boy. We can sense he wants to trust people and to be loved, he’s just so scared and the shelter is a pretty chaotic environment for him. We know that once he goes home with his purrfect family that he will no doubt warm up to you over time. Please consider him if you think your life matches the recommendations for his adoption!

His adoption fee is a donation of your choice. Adoption includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, flea preventatives, Felv/FIV/Heartworm testing (negative) and microchip. Please complete an adoption application (www.cdlcanimals.org) if interested in meeting this gorgeous kitty. We will respond to all submitted applications and email inquires within 24-48 hours.

Thank you for considering this extra special soul! Meet and greets are held at our adoption center, 1325 S Main Street, Algonquin, IL, after applications are submitted. Thank you!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING AN INQUIRY OR APPLYING TO ADOPT:

We do not ship any of our animals. An adoption donation fee is not negotiable. Some donation fees are higher based on the uniqueness of a breed, an animal’s rare characteristics, or previous medical expenses. We provide endless amounts of care and veterinary assistance to well over 125 animals on any given day. Should you have difficulties understanding our full mission, please refrain from making inquiries or applying to adopt. These adoption fees enable us to carry out our FULL CIRCLE RESCUE MISSION - to those who are most beautiful and precious to those who are less desirable, have long-term medical conditions, who struggle with temperament issues, and may live their lives out under our care never finding homes. Funding allows us to continue our mission of rescuing future animals. Thank you for your support!
