Hi! I’m Cheddar! I’m a six month old male domestic shorthair. I was born outside as a stray with my four other siblings in South Dakota. Then I went on a long journey to Minneapolis to meet my new foster mom and find a new home. I was SO terrified of my foster mom. After a few days I was eating and playing with my foster mom. We are still working on petting.

I’m shy to new people and don’t like change. I need a family who understands that I need my own space for a little bit such as a bedroom or bathroom so I can get to know my new surroundings and people. But feed me and play with me and I will be your best friend.

I’ll chase anything that moves. I love playing so much. My foster mom gets a good laugh because she’ll be playing with my siblings and I’ll come out of no where and pounce on the toy. I play so hard I start panting.

I love treats! I will run to where the treats are and demand them.

I love to rub up on my foster mom and ask for endless pets. I do sometimes shy away if my foster mom reaches for me. I tolerate being picked up.

I would love to go to a new home with one of my siblings Tart, Coco, or Cupcake. I definitely need a young energetic cat friend to play with

We require kittens to be adopted in pairs or into a home with another young kitty. Please see our website to understand why. https://www.thekittenscradle.org/adoption-application/adopt/pairs/

All cats are vetted, which includes feluk/fiv testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccines and spay or neuter.

The Kittens Cradle is foster based which means that our adoptable cats are all in caring foster homes throughout the twin cities area. If you are interested in meeting this kitty, please call 763-350-9871 or email us at info@thekittenscradle.org
