Meet Cheddar

Meet CHEDDAR. He is a young brown tabby with white male who is approximately 2-3 years old. Cheddar was found living outside in a cat colony and he was ear tipped as part of the TNR Program which returns the cats back outside after they’ve had their shots and been spayed/neutered. (TNR is a non-lethal, three-step method to reduce the number of feral and stray cats both immediately and in the long term.) However, it was soon obvious that Cheddar was VERY SWEET and FRIENDLY, and we brought him into our shelter so that we could find him the perfect home! Cheddar is bit shy at first meetings and may hide, but once he is comfortable, he will sit next to you, hang-out and enjoy being PET. His PERSONALITY has really blossomed! He gets along nicely with other submissive and non-aggressive cats. Cheddar is staying in Westchester, NY. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
