Charlotte Domestic Short Hair Cincinnati, OH

Charlotte came to us after an apartment building manager found her abandoned by the former tenant in one of the units. It is unknown how long she was without food, water, and care but she was seen by a vet immediately and determined to be otherwise healthy. Charlotte has a congenital disability. Her back legs did not properly form in utero. She has toe pads (one each) on the bottom of her legs but they do not extend past the first “knee” joint, making her back legs shorter and peg-shaped. She can walk on them but it is painful after too much time upright , especially if she is on tile or hardwood. We would love to see her find a permanent home where there is a lot of soft carpeting she can walk on. Her personality is somewhat shy and guarded. She knows she is vulnerable and needs a family (preferably without dogs or very small children) who can work with her to gain her trust.

She is FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, and spayed.
