Meet Charlie
Charlie is a regal, affectionate cat who is believed to be about 9 years old. He’s looking for a forever home where he can be the king of the castle, just like his namesake in England!
This long-haired, gorgeous orange boy (he may be part Norwegian Forest Cat) loves to be where his human family is. He’s an expert at curling up on the couch, and when the zoomies strike, he’s excited to play. Charlie is a social guy, and doesn’t like a lot of alone time.
He enjoys climbing up a cat tower, chasing his beloved feather toys, and playing with his favorite stuffed monkey that has been with him since kittenhood. He’s curious and likes watching birds out the window, or for a short while on cat TV. He loves any cat food that includes gravy, and is also fastidious about having a clean litter box (having two boxes would be even better).
Charlie can have a spicy side, mostly if he feels lonely or frustrated, so it’s important that he lives with a patient, kind human who can give him lots of attention and help him channel his abundant energy.
Very sadly, Charlie’s previous human (who passed away) declawed him on all four paws, so he cannot scratch himself. For this reason, giving him lots of grooming, combing, scratching, pets and love is extremely important. Charlie absolutely needs to be the only pet in the house. He would do best in an active home with adults who are around a lot, and who will enjoy spending time with him and showering him with affection. Because of his spicy personality Charlie's forever home should not have young children. He might do well with older (12+), cat-savvy children.
This handsome boy is ready to settle down in a happy, peaceful life where he can give back all the love he so wants to receive. If you’re ready to add a royal presence to your household, consider bringing bonnie prince Charlie into your home.
