What is Humane Society of Uvalde’s adoption process?

Please contact hsuadoption@yahoo.com or call 591-9229 or 830-275-1744 for more information. Dogs will NOT be adopted into homes that use tieing or chaining as a means of confinement. Adopters must be 18 years old.  For more adoption guidelines, visit www.hsuvalde.com and go to "about" and "adoptions". Pets are available for adoption at the HSU facility located behind HEB, Mon-Fri 10-3pm or by appointment! BRING A LEASH AND COLLAR FOR DOG ADOPTIONS! Oasis Outback in Uvalde sells ID tags where you can imprint your phone number and address.  ALL PETS NEED ID!  Its the only way they can be reunited in the event they are lost.  95% of ID'd pets are returned to the owner. OFFICE HOURS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED!!! Office Hours are Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Fridayfrom 10-3pm
