Super, special home needed! Rescuing kittens is very rewarding, but every now and again, we get some bad news that just breaks our hearts. A recently rescued litter of three did just that. Meet Maddie, Burt and Cassie. This adorable and friendly, 4-month old trio tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). Kittens can contract FeLV from their mom. Sometimes a kitten's immune system can fight it off, and sometimes not. Kittens with FeLV deserve a wonderful life, however, it will be short. FeLV is contagious so these cuties would love to be adopted together or they can live with another FeLV kitty. We're happy to give you more details.

Cassie is very affectionate and playful with just a touch of sass. She likes to know where everyone is and cries if she can't find them. She seeks out attention from her foster mom and will sometimes give her sweet kisses on the chin. All three kittens have a blast playing together in their special kitten room. Cassie may do fine as an only kitty. Cassie's bucket list includes eating all flavors of Weruva wet food, watching all Pixar movies that include a cat character and having a pet mouse :-)
