Meet Cassatt - In Foster

Cassatt's former owner said she's very playful and friendly. Unfortunately though, she's been too stressed in the bustling shelter environment to be herself. Cassatt is waiting for a big-hearted adopter who's patient enough to build a relationship with her over time instead of making an instant connection. She enjoys squeeze-up treat tubes, which can be used to earn her trust. Her eyes light up when we dangle a wand toy in front of her and we can tell that she wants to play but doesn't have the confidence here yet. However, she'll return to the playful and friendly little cat we know she can be once she feels safe in her new home. Take things slow, celebrate the small victories as she opens up, and you'll be rewarded with the strong bond that develops between a person and their once-shy cat.
