Casper is a 1-year-old, very social kitty looking for his forever home with his playful sister Salem!

This lively pair are ready to entertain you at all times, especially at meal time—they’ll show their approval of wet food by running up to the door, standing on their hind legs, and meowing until their food dishes are set down. Casper is the more outgoing and chattier of the two, while Salem is a bit quieter and happy to trot along behind her brother while he leads the way.

Both are big fans of attention, pets, and playtime, and will climb right into your lap for cuddles, or even onto your back and shoulders if you’re reclining on the couch!

If you’re folding laundry and happen to leave a large blanket out in a pile, this dynamic duo will entertain themselves by turning it into a blanket “fort” where they can hide and pounce.

Any toy in your toy box will be a hit, especially catnip, kickers, the Cat Dancer, and the laser pointer. Salem takes the Cat Dancer chase seriously, and will sometimes carry it away in her mouth once she has triumphantly “caught” it. Casper doesn’t come with an off switch, so it’s important to monitor his play sessions so he doesn’t overdo it, and give him breaks so he can catch his breath.
When it’s time to rest, both siblings enjoy chilling in empty storage cubbies, and scratching on their sisal mat. (The sisal mat is much preferred to the cardboard scratcher, which has mostly served as a chew toy.)

The ideal home for Casper and Salem would have loving, active humans around who are available to play one-on-one with them throughout the day, to give them breaks from their full-on kitten shenanigans with each other. This sweet pair will be their new family’s little shadows, fully involved in all the action of the home. They are great with kids, but not fond of other cats and have not spent any time with dogs.
