Carter is an independent, purring machine, who loves to play and wrestle with other cats. He loves to climb to the top of his cat tree or into a bed by the sunniest window. He has been tested with dogs and does best if they let him come to them, he gets lonely without a feline friend, and likes people who wait for him to lie down next to them.
In March 2022 a community member reached out to us about the ever-growing and out of control colony in her neighborhood. We named this colony The Aviary and have successfully trapped, neutered, and returned 95% of the adult cats and found homes for 10 of the 13 adoptable cats/kittens from the area. One foster family took all of the kittens from this area and has raised them to be loving, snuggly, and gentle. You'll be hard pressed to find kittens with better manners.
