Meet Carolina Grace
Carolina Grace is a declawed "extra sweet" beauty who wants to spend the rest of her 9 lives with you! She has journeyed through homelessness, life-threatening medical conditions (twice!), and now is hoping to find a home where she can finally have a lap all her own. Her adoption fee has been SPONSORED to help find that home!
Carolina Grace was rescued by an older couple in 2015; she enjoyed a loving environment with a doggy sibling. She was diagnosed with diabetes in 2017, which they began treating her for. Unfortunately, one of her people had advancing Alzheimer’s, so with reluctance they had to surrender her.
Carolina Grace came to us from her North Carolina home in March 2018, but two life-threatening illnesses in April and June 2018 almost ended her life. Through sheer force of will and excellent vet care (and thanks to very generous donors) she fought through her illnesses and has been stable since then.
Carolina Grace would be happiest as an only cat, as she would like to have a purrson all to herself to cuddle with! However, she does okay with other cats in our Sanctuary as long as they give her space. If you would like to adopt Carolina Grace, please click here to apply: http://www.chesapeakecatsanddogs.org/
