Meet Carmen
Carmen is a 10-month-old indoor kitten looking for her forever home!
She embodies curiosity and energy, and has a confident nature that you’ll find allows her to quickly integrate into new spaces and feel right at home.
Carmen enjoys perching on the window sill and watching the outside world. She absolutely loves to chase anything that skitters or rolls and she is also partial to swatting at cardboard tubes and cat toy wands.
She wakes up around 6-7 am and likes to snuggle for the last few minutes of sleeping. She prefers to be fed after this point in the morning and will take time to lounge immediately after every meal. During the middle of the day, she cycles between playful moods and quiet moods. During the latter, she usually watches birds from her favorite window spot. In the evenings she tends to match the human's energy; quieter evenings with dimmer lights result in a calmer Carmen while energetic evenings present opportunities for extended play with a similarly energetic Carmen. She's fed again in the evening and continues to wind down after that meal, snuggling on the bed or in a cozy, blanketed kennel or box. At bedtime, she may decide to go off on her own to sleep or attempt to remain in bed with the human.
Carmen is currently living with one human in an apartment.
Carmen’s ideal home will feature at least one room where she can spend some time independently. At times she likes to run, so her ideal home would have adequate space for her to roam and dispense extra energy.
Carmen has no ongoing medical needs and is considered a good cat for first-time cat owners.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
