Meet CARMEL

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

CARMEL was found in a parking lot in Compton, Ca. The independent rescuer that found her saved her from being attacked by other animals. At the time, it was unsure if she was going to be returned to that colony and was ear-tipped. While in recovery, it was discovered that she is a very sweet girl. That's when we got the call.

So CARMEL has known the street life for a very short time. She is such a tiny cat. She is probably 7 lbs. She has now been living a nice pampered life. As you can see in the pictures, she is loved and spoiled. CARMEL loves to be petted; she does a cute little dance. When you pick her up, she will start her little motor and purr very loud. Loves to cuddle with her cat friends. She does love to play!! While in foster care, she's made really good friends with various cats. So she will be a great bff to her humans and any cat. Or she will be just fine by herself.

CARMEL is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABICO MIX. Tabicos are a mix of a Tabby and a Calico. She is about 18 months old and is good with cats and non- reactive to dogs. She has never been around young children.

CARMEL is currently at PETSMART Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.

You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

PETSMART
in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue

in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue

in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

********** PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS **********

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

CARMEL is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Spay
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!

If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us:
