It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


CARA DUNE and her 5 siblings (ARMORER - GREEF KARGA - PELI MOTTO - GARSA FWIP -AHSOKA TANO) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms with kittens. They went to a foster. Then we were asked to help get them good homes.


CARA DUNE is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. FYI: We named them after the show MANDALORIAN.


CARA DUNE is a rambunctious little girl. She likes toys, the cat tree and treats! You can pick her up and she will give you love. But the minute you set her down, she's gone to explore and run like crazy. She gets along really well with her siblings. She is definitely a lap cat!


She will need a YOUNG cat to play with in her new home. We will not do an adoption, if she does not have a cat / kitten buddy at home.


CARA DUNE is DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINECOON - TABBY MIX. She is about 6 months old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. She has never been around children.


CARA DUNE is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

NOVEMBER 2022:. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 11 am. We are working on getting evening volunteers too! Email us and ask us. We will let you know what days evening volunteers are there.


The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, ect....once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
