Captain Cat Sparrow's Story

Arr Matey! Cat Sparrow here....actually Captain Cat Sparrow to you lovely folks.

I am an adventurer by nature. My mama Ashlin survived being dumped on the side of the road and went on one heck of a quest! She wound up stumbling onto someone's property. She decided that it looked like a good place to settle down. Soon, she discovered that some people lived there. At first, she kept her distance. They were the stubborn sort though....they kept calling her and offering her food. Soon, she gave in and started coming up to them. She was always so thankful for the food but would soon be on her way again. She never stayed too long...she couldn't risk putting her trust in the wrong people again..

One day though....they outsmarted her. They put her food in this weird box thing and when she went in...CLOSED it on her! She was so scared and worried about what would happen. This is when the story gets really good though. Instead of something bad happening to her they brought her inside and out of the heat. They fed her, gave her a warm bed, and all was great! A day later, I was born! Yep, my mama was pregnant....very pregnant. She says she met a handsome sailor in her past life. She was trying to find a nice spot to have my siblings and me when all this happened. So, as soon as she realized she was safe and in a comfy bed...she welcomed us to the world!

So, as you can tell...I was made for adventure! I love to explore but am smart about it. After all, I didn't earn my stripes by not playing things smart! I am a big fan of stealing hearts and enjoy cuddling with the people in my foster home. I enjoy exploring the great outside and am not the biggest fan of being photographed on my adventures! My foster has snapped photos of me every week since I was born, and I make it known that I am not a fan in many of the photos. She is interrupting important playtime and exploration time after all! ;)

I am using the litterbox and starting to eat more solid foods now. I am everything that a captain should be. I am loyal, I am adventurous on the outside but for those that really know me a total teddy bear! I am being fostered around dogs and do well with them. However, I am a playful guy so the dogs need to be okay with me running throughout the house at times, trying to cuddle with them sometimes, and sharing our family's attention!

My mama has already embarked on quite the quest and isn't quite finished yet with it. However, I believe that it is time to start my own quest. The quest to find my forever family!

I expect them to have lots of treasures in the form of toys and treats. I expect them to allow me to make my own fun and let my imagination fly while I try to avoid the lava-covered floor while I hop from furniture to furniture. Or while I try to climb the cat tower of doom in search of the perfect napping spot! I am also in search of somewhere that I can stay forever. A nice little home and family that I can count on to the end of times. One that is ready to hang in for the long run, even when the waters get a bit rough!

My adoption fee is $100.00. That will include two sets of kitten vaccinations and dewormings, micro-chip, and neuter.
