Meet Captain
Captain was rescued from the shelter by Kitten Rescue as a medical case at only 8 months old. He was suspected to have been hit by a car as he had broken bones in both hind legs. Despite the pain he must have been in, he was adored by shelter staff for his sweet, friendly manner and they helped coordinate his rescue. After several months of surgeries and healing, Captain is running around, playing, exploring, and generally loving life. When he sits, one leg still sticks out weirdly but don't let that fool you. He is a very talkative, curious, affectionate, and playful cat who doesn't let his slight limp slow him down. He loves to look out windows, sleep in baskets, play with toys, and explore new things. He lives in a foster home with both cats and dogs so he gets along with both. He's rather stubborn about not wanting to drink water so a mostly wet food diet is highly recommended.
