Meet Caph and Schedar

Oh my stars, have you ever seen such adorable kittens?!
Born to the Queen of the Night Sky, Cassiopeia (or Catsiopeia in their case), Caph and Schedar live up to their celestial designations. Two of the brightest stars of the constellation, or litter in this case, their purrsonalities are out of this world!

Caph is a playful, sweet little boy. His super soft fur is dark as the midnight sky accented with shooting stars of white wisps and tonal tabby stripes. He loves to run and jump and climb his scratching post and chase every feather toy and piece of fluff he finds (including his sister).

Schedar is a lovable little girl who’s beauty is absolutely astronomical! This tiny tabico is a spotted and stripey supernova. She loves to play and chase her pom poms and jingle balls. She loves to beat her brother Caph in climbing to the top of the scratching post.

These happy-go-lucky little kittens have adjusted to changes in life with great ease. Unfazed by the adoptions of their momma and two siblings, they love life and don’t take anything too Sirius!

Typical siblings, Caph and Schedar will stalk and chase and wrestle until the other cries “uncle!” But when they hear each other’s meek little mew, they’ll run to rescue the other from certain cat-astrophe. They will snuggle the day away piled on top of each other or holding paws while laying with, or on, their person. dreaming of the day when they find their furrever home together.

Their home in the heavens is the Heart Nebula. If you have the room in your heart and home, these two little stars are sure to become the center of your universe!

Caph and Schedar are are 10 weeks old and looking for a home together. They are in the middle of their age appropriate vaccinations. When they reach four months old, they can be spayed/neutered and microchipped. These procedures and their rabies vaccine are included in their adoption fee when performed by an HSLC partner veterinarian.

Unable to adopt these lovable little stars but want to help them find their furrever home? You can help Caph and Schedar, or any of our amazing animals, by becoming a Guardian Angel.  Learn more here: https://humaneloudoun.org/donate/more-ways-to-give/
