Meet Canela, an independent and food-motivated little lady who is ready to be your one and only. She was rescued earlier this year along with her kittens who have all mostly found their homes. While we know she has spent plenty of time around human companionship, we believe she will thrive best in a home that can help boost her confidence. She enjoys head scratches and will stay close to you during the day. Although she's not very confident about getting up on couches or beds yet (possibly due to the presence of other animals in her foster home that might make her a bit nervous), we believe that in time, she'll expand her horizons and move more confidently in her space.

This chatty and chirpy girl is immensely grateful for the safety of being indoors. We think she would make an excellent single cat and would bond well with a kind and understanding person. Please note that she can occasionally become nippy if she's uncertain about a new person petting her.
