Hi my name is Calpurna and I am a female, medium haired mostly white Calico. When I am fully grown, I will have whispy medium hair!

My sister Cinders and I had an extremely rough start in life. We were very, very sick and got dropped off at the shelter, because the people who owned us could no afford our medical care. The shelter put us with their very best foster to try and get us well. We had a illness causing an upper respiratory bacterial infection that spread into our eyes. Our foster mom started to see signs that we were fading fast and thought we would die, so she called Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue and asked if they could help us. We ended up in their care because their rescue had the medical resources and experienced fosters to take care of us. They worked diligently and gave us round the clock formula, fluids, antibiotics and eye meds. At first, we were blind, our eyes were swollen shut. They eventually got better. Cinder had it worse then me and she eventually had her eye removed because it was painfull and it really bothered her.

I am a very happy girl now and I am ready for find a home for life.
