Callie Tortoiseshell & American Shorthair Mix Kansas City, MO

Callie’s dad died unexpectedly and Callie was taken in by a kind neighbor. Now she’s waiting for a fresh start. after spending quality time in a terrific foster home.

Callie is a shy but loving little thing who just takes a little while to come around. She has been living with a wonderful foster mom who adores her and has watched her blossom. She waits for you when you come home and says goodbye when you leave. She will sit and watch TV with you on the couch - sometimes in your lap -- and act like she’s the queen of the world. She loves attention and enjoys playtime and cuddle time.

She would do best in a quiet home with one or two adults or older children. She would probably be best as an only cat but could probably get along with another mellow dog or cat. Right now she lives with two cats and a large dog.

Callie is fully vetted meaning she is spayed, been tested for cat diseases and found negative and been vaccinated. She has just had her teeth cleaned. She is around 8 years old.
