Hi friend! My name is Cali. I am a special girl, but let's start from the beginning. I came to HP in February from a shelter in Southern IL, and that is when the medical staff found I was pregnant! I went into foster, and I have three babies now, who have all been adopted. I am a very sweet girl and love people! I am super vocal and I have lots I want to talk about. I'm the prettiest calico around, too! I will never turn down a play-date, especially one that involves those silly little mousies. Going back to what makes me special... After I was spayed, it was discovered that I am FelV positive, which means I have the Feline Leukemia Virus. Unfortunately, there is no cure, and it could lead to me having a shorter lifespan than the average kitty. This virus can be transmitted to other cats, so it would be best for me to be the only cat in the household or to be in a house with other cats that are also FelV positive.
