I’m Cairo. Egyptian royalty. You know, worshipped and all. I am revered in my palace. So, I’m not sure why my foster mom keeps bringing kittens home. I don’t like it at all. I want ALL the attention. I’ve tried letting her know how much it distresses me. I purr and allow her to pet me when I’m perched upon my throne on the couch. I even let her pick me up and dance with me. But still…KITTENS all the time. Sometimes I give her sass to let her know it makes me angry when she visits the kittens. But she just laughs at me when I rebuke her. I’m beginning to think I need a new servant (mom or dad) who will let me sleep on blankets, feed me, clean my royal litter box, and most of all, NOT bring any more critters into MY palace. So, I’m putting out this decree.

PERSONAL SERVANT WANTED. Only experienced cat servants need apply and must understand that I make the rules. I like to follow you everywhere you go, and you must let me. I will decide when you can pet me. I need someone who is a master at laser play, as this is my favorite game and I like to do it A LOT. The palace in which I will live must have lots of soft blankets upon which I can perch. I will also need a throne, preferably on a couch next to you. Jewels are optional.

My foster mom is very sad about this, as she thinks I’m very funny. I assure you; I am not. I’m a dignified ruler and am very direct with my commands. But she says I’m sweet and is always trying to kiss me even when I protest.

If you would like to serve me, know that I’m not ever going to have any more pesky kittens (my foster mom took care of that). She also arranged for me to get a bunch of shots and a microchip while I was there.
