What a change a loving environment makes! Since moving into a foster home, two year old Cabernet (also known as Grayson) has blossomed into a confident, loving cat. Initially quite shy, he now engages in sessions of intense purring and petting with his foster mom.

Cabernet has also rediscovered the joy of play and can get quite caught up in stalking a good feather toy. He also enjoys soccer, chasing and knocking the ball around, sometimes into the wee hours after the rest of the house has settled down to sleep.

Cabernet has also made his place with the other kitties in his foster home and would probably be fine around other cats, given a proper introduction.

If left to his own devices, Cabernet likes hanging out in the room where people are, sitting a little apart, observing, sometimes playing and sometimes approaching for purring sessions.

While Cabernet has come a long way, he's still learning to be comfortable around new people. Above all, the key to this cat's heart is patience, letting him approach you first.
