Meet Buzz
We would like to introduce you to Buzz - he is a 4-year-old boy that has a sad backstory. Buzz made the long trip to our rescue from a high kill shelter in southern Illinois with hopes of finding a loving home. When he arrived, he was limping and in pain. It was discovered that he had a BB in his back leg. Obviously, it was very disturbing to realize a helpless animal had been exposed to such cruelty. Someone had been truly heartless. As upsetting as it was, we knew we needed to place our focus on getting Buzz feeling better and into a safe home.
We are happy to report that although it took some time for his injury to heal, Buzz is doing great and not even limping anymore. Despite being hurt by humans in the past, he is a loving, trusting and friendly cat. He is very social, likes attention and just wants to be loved. Now he just needs a home!
