Meet Buttermilk Buscuit

Hi, my name is Buttermilk Biscuit! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Alert, active, timid at first, affectionate once comfortable, talkative
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - will need a slow proper introduction to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history - could potentially live with a cat-friendly dog after a slow and proper introduction
-Can Live with Kids: Respectful kids ages 12+ (I am sensitive to handling at times)
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Not required but recommended
-History of Litter Box Issues: Unknown, but I have been using my litterbox while here at the shelter
-Energy Level: Medium/high
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter / MC
Additional Information: Buttermilk Biscuit came to us as a stray with an injury to his hind end. He was treated for this injury and is now ready to find his forever home! This chatty dude is affectionate once comfortable, but it takes him a little while to adjust to new situations. Buttermilk Biscuit has not shown any aggression while here at the shelter, but he has shown some potential for overstimulation. He would do best in a cat-experienced home with people who know how to read his signals. Once he's had time to adjust, we think he will be a playful, energetic, and cuddly cat! If you'd like to meet Buttermilk Biscuit to see if he's a good match for you, the first step is filling out an adoption application.
